Quarta postagem do dia! Uma pequena "participação especial" nossa no Trackpack 1994 de Plodekk e Cleberpister, mais exatamente o traçado de Spa-Francorchamps da época. Siga o progresso completo do Trackpack, além de baixar também pistas de 1988 e 1993, aqui.

Circuito do Algarve briefing

Parece que a temporada de elaboração de pistas para 2011 já começou. Existem dois projetos do time do F1 Virtual que gostaríamos de continuar a trabalhar até temporada de F1 começar em março. Algarve como uma pista de testes é certamente um desses, e eu estou muito interessado nisso. A ver.

It seems track making season has started. There are two projects of F1 Virtual we´d like to keep working till F1 season starts at march. Algarve as a testing track is surely one of those, and I´m very keen of it. Let´s see.

Soulbringers Red Bull X1

Diz-se que beleza é para ser mostrada.
Sr. Soulbringer tem trazido para o GP4 muitos dos melhores carshapes de F1 feitos até agora. E esse novo projeto de sua autoria é o tipo de trabalho que faz da comunidade GP4 ser tão longeva.

X1 é um protótipo desenvolvido pela Polyphony Digital e Red Bull, com seu aerodinamicista mais renomado, Adrian Newey, e seu piloto e estrela em ascenção, Sebastian Vettel.

Muito bem, Sr.! E muito obrigado!

Mr. Soulbringer has brought to GP4 life many of the best F1 carshapes made so far. And this new project of his own is the kind of work that makes GP4 and its community alive for so long.

X1 is a prototype developed by Polyphony Digital and Red Bull, with Formula 1’s most renowned aerodynamicist, Adrian Newey, and their star F1 driver and 2010 WC, Sebastian Vettel.

Well done, Mr! And thank you very much!

De volta em Abu

Continuando nossa velha filosofia de devagar e sempre, o traçado de Yas Marina foi completamente revisado em busca da subida perfeita. As elevações foram refeitas depois de muita observação, e está sendo avaliada pelos membros da equipe.

Ali embaixo segue um vídeo, gravado pelo Jorge Caranti, mostrando o estágio atual da pista (não liguem para as áreas de escape azuis, as texturas são provisórias). Reclamações e sugestões, a hora é agora!


Keeping slow but steady, the Yas Marina layout has been completely reviewed in search for the perfect elevations. The changes are now being evaluated by F1Virtual team members.

Down here you can see a video (made by Jorge Caranti) showing the current situation (if the blue runoff textures look bad, they're provisional, don't worry). Suggestions and complaints, now is the time!

Que grande temporada, sou grato por viver e acompanhar a F1 nestes tempos heróicos.

Pena a última etapa ter sido marcada para um circuito tão sem graça.
Petrov fez sua melhor corrida, ele que costumava bater em retas, e Alonso provou do próprio veneno destilado em Imola 2006 contra Schumacher.
Button mais uma vez provou quão rápido pode ser ao final da prova poupando pneus. Massa alegou o ano inteiro problema com os dele, mas ainda assim Hamilton venceu três.
Se Kobayashi não tivesse errado a primeira curva instantes antes da exata saída dos boxes de Vettel, a corrida poderia ter sido bem diferente.
Barrichello foi o culpado pelo estrago entre Rosberg e Schummy, ao desacelerar tão forte na aproximação pra curva 5. E ainda por cima garantiu vaga para 2011, em detrimento de Huck.
O duto de ar da Renault é melhor que o da Ferrari, mas não melhor que o da Mclaren.
Vettel jamais assumiu a ponta numa tabela de campeonato. Exceto ontem.

As namoradas da Mclaren são melhores que as outras.

Vejo vocês em 2011, e parabéns Sebastian Vettel!

What a great season, I´m glad to live up for these times and support this amazing sport.

Pity though last battle scheduled to such a boring circuit.
Petrov did his best run ever, he himself who used to fail on straights (!) and Alonso proved from his own Imola break-early 2006 poison.
Button once again proved how saving tyres can make one competitive at the end. Massa claimed for bad tyres along the season, though Hamilton, himself a tyre killer, has got 3 home.
If Kobayashi had not run out first corner just before Vettel pit exit, things would become slightly different.
Barrichello has caused rosberg-schummy clash by reducing so early on his approach to turn 5. And Williams set him despite Huck, what a shame.
Renault duct is better than Ferrari´s, but not best than Mclaren´s.
Vettel has never been 1st place on driver standings. No better time than this.

Mclaren boys girlfriends are the ones.

See you in 2011, and congratulations Sebastian Vettel!

Interlagos 2010

I lost my cell phone, my camera felt into my own coca-cola glass and ruined, none recognize my white t-shirt, got a messy traffic to get there, but it´s priceless!

What a great event, I´m blessed for this unforgettable weekend.

Next year we will be there, Paulo!
