Engajado agora na difícil tarefa de alinhar a entrada do pitlane com o resto da pista. Parece tudo perfeito olhando o desenho, não? Mas como nem tudo é o que parece, pois nesse trecho da pista mora um grande perigo...O difícil aqui está em alinhar os dois trechos de pista em relação à altura. Basta que a entrada do pit fique poucos centímetros acima da pista e já dá pra sentir o carro quicando, não é nada agradável quando se tem uma chicane à frente. Alguns centímetros abaixo, e o carro afunda com o pitlane, quicando quando volta a pista. Divertido, não?
Além desse trabalho milimétrico (e chato), o próximo passo é fazer as zebras da chicane, que com certeza será o ponto mais comentado da pista, se bem ou mal, só depende de mim.
Now on the hard job of aligning the track and pit entrance. Looks fine when looking at the picture, but actually a great danger lives in those sectors...The hard work is to make both tracks match, height-wise. With pit entrance a few centimeters above track, we get a bump which is not pleasant at all when there is a chicane ahead. A few centimeters below, and the car goes down with pitlane, and when it returns to track, bump. Nice, isn't it?
After this precise (and boring) work, the next step is making the chicane kerbs, which I see as the most commented track feature. If the comments are good or bad, it's up to me only.
